This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, outgoing professional with a strong commercial insurance background who thrives on fostering broker partnerships and driving growth through collaboration and insight.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will focus on generating new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with key broker partners. You’ll work closely with the underwriting and leadership teams to identify profitable growth opportunities, analyze results and trends, and help shape regional business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and foster strong relationships with brokers and external partners.

Identify, investigate, and develop new business opportunities across target markets.

Collaborate with internal teams to monitor portfolio performance and ensure profitability.

Use data and market insights to analyze trends and identify areas for growth.

Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and broker engagement.

About You

7+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, ideally in a business development or sales capacity.

In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, markets, and distribution strategies.

Strong understanding of business strategy and financial performance metrics.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with broker partners.

Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
