Correct-AI is a fast-growing Canadian company that works closely with customers who need sophisticated, precise, and automated navigation techniques to ensure the safe mobility of their vehicles in real-time.

The main function of Correct-AI’s products is to improve safety by preventing collisions and rollovers of vehicles and machinery. The system uses camera and LiDAR data to detect and classify objects, as well as determine their size and distance to the vehicle. Our products combine hardware and software solutions, and leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, to provide an awareness of surroundings and situations and to convey essential information to operators.

Correct-AI is developing this technology with an experienced team and pursuing market opportunities in several industry sectors.

The Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically savvy Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive our expansion in Eastern Canada and the USA. This role is a strategic "hunter" position, focused on initiating and closing high-value deals with major mining operations, aggregate producers, and heavy civil construction firms. The ideal candidate will combine deep industry knowledge with an understanding of how AI/ML can solve complex, real-world operational challenges

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Business Development & Market Penetration

·Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to aggressively penetrate the Mining and Heavy Construction markets across Eastern Canada and the USA.

·Identify, research, and target key prospective clients, including C-suite executives, VP of Operations, and Heads of Safety at Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies.

·Act as a market expert, continuously analyzing industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes (e.g., safety standards) to inform and refine the sales strategy.

·Build a robust, qualified pipeline of opportunities to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Minimum Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, B2B sales, or strategic account management.
  • Demonstrable track record of success selling complex technology or capital equipment (e.g., software, SaaS, telematics, heavy machinery, or technical services) to the Mining or Heavy Construction industry.
  • Proven ability to close high-value deals with long sales cycles.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the business and operational challenges unique to Eastern Canadian and US mining/heavy construction sites.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences from the site level up to the C-suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (estimated 50%) throughout the Eastern Canada and USA territory.
Preferred

·Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil, or Electrical), Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.

·Experience selling AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions.

·Proficiency in French is a strong asset for covering Eastern Canadian markets.
