A leading occupational health consultancy is seeking a Business Development & Client Relations Manager to lead growth, translate health terminology into client satisfaction, and build lasting partnerships. The role involves strategizing sales, managing client relations, and ensuring smooth service delivery. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of experience in the health business, strong communication skills, and CRM proficiency.
Are you excited by helping organizations keep their people healthy and you can close a deal without sacrificing your ethics or sense of humour? Apex is looking for a savvy Business Development & Client Relations Manager to lead our growth charge, translate occupational health-speak into client joy, and help scale services that actually make workplaces healthier. (Bonus points if you can deliver a pitch while wearing business casual and a smile.).
You’ll lead sales strategy, prospect, quote like a pro, and turn great service into long-term partnerships without wearing a headset in a call centre. Working closely with clinicians, our Medical Director and internal teams, you’ll ensure the sale is smooth, contracts are tidy, services are set up so our clinical team can shine, and clients keep coming back. Using your networks, and charm you’ll map yearly growth plans with clear milestones and revenue targets, hunt for new business via prospecting, warm outreach, tenders and partners, and build and expand accounts by preparing accurate quotes/tenders and negotiating service agreements to get signed contracts across the finish line. You’ll keep the CRM pristine, support invoicing/AR issues, provide regular reports to senior management, and act as the friendly bridge between clients and our experts — solving problems, answering questions, and keeping relationships warm.
We sell occupational health services that integrate into client operations, improve employee participation, and give a real return on health investments. Apex designs and delivers services that integrate easily into company operations, engage employees for increased program participation, and provide a cost-effective return on our client’s health and wellness investment. You’ll be the person who helps clients see the value — and then helps our teams deliver it. (We also love clean contracts and good coffee).
We offer our employees an opportunity to deliver innovative employee health programs and solutions to our clients. As well as competitive pay, benefits, paid volunteer day, on-going training, growth potential and so much more, our employees have the opportunity to positively impact their community by delivering innovative employee health programs and solutions to our clients.
