Ottawa’s Protak Consulting Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Consultant at the Senior level for new and ongoing projects with the federal government. This is a contract opportunity.

Scope of Work
  • Specifying the organization’s objectives, developing policies, standards and plans to achieve objectives
  • Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development, measurements, and gap analysis
  • Data integrity on departmental systems
  • Quality Procedures (QPs) development
  • Advising Senior Management on a range of issues affecting the organization’s ability to achieve the business objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for, assisting in the prioritization of, and assignment of organizational improvement
  • Developing and/or managing the implementation of an organizational improvement plan to identify, analyze, plan, track and control organizational improvements on a continuous basis
  • Making recommendations and providing advice for improvements and assisting in developing solutions and implementing recommendations
  • Collecting and analyzing information and presenting findings on complex issues, carrying out or coordinating research as required and preparing reports
  • Defining and producing business requirement document

Requirements
  • Candidates must provide references with their resume.
  • Candidates must hold an active Security Clearance with the Government of Canada.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate 3+ years of professional experience at minimum as a Business Consultant
  • A professional certification (not a certificate) related to Business Management or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Work will primarily be conducted in English. Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Location of work: Primarily remote, but may be called in for occasional meetings in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
