CHALLENGES TO BE MET
  • Set and communicate a clear direction for your team while aligning with BDC's long‑term business objectives
  • Work closely with your team to meet and exceed overall objectives related to new client acquisition, financing and advisory solutions, client service portfolio growth as well as other key metrics
  • Recruit, develop and retain talent
  • Foster transparent communication and an environment of openness
  • Connect with local business professionals to develop relationships and obtain referrals
  • Contribute to area and regional growth objectives as part of the leadership team
  • Foster the growth and performance of team members through coaching, mentorship and continuous development initiatives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree (Business Administration / Accounting / Finance or relevant field)
  • 3 years of front‑line sales leadership experience and/or 10–15 years progressive experience in financial services
  • Excellent communication skills including public speaking
  • Recognized for outstanding customer service
  • Exceptional at prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams
  • Professional credentials such as MBA, CPA, CFA, PMP or CMC (asset)
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is required.
