We are seeking a connected, commercially minded Mining-Focused Environmental Services Business Center Practice Leader (BCPL) to shape Stantec’s next phase of mining growth in Ontario by deepening client partnerships, positioning integrated solutions, and building a high-performing environmental services team.

Reporting to the Regional Growth Leader – Ontario & Atlantic Canada, you’ll help set the direction for Stantec’s environmental mining practice in Ontario and bring that strategy to life through trusted client relationships, focused growth priorities, and strong collaboration across business lines. You’ll connect clients with integrated environmental, engineering, and technical solutions while supporting teams in delivering work that is safe, high-quality, and responsive to the evolving needs of the mining sector. In this role, you will also partner with business leaders to advance market positioning, pursue strategic opportunities, and champion a culture of safety, quality, innovation, and accountability.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, environmental planning, or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of related technical, leadership, financial management, business development, and consulting experience, with proven experience building client relationships in the mining sector.
Professional registration in good standing in your environmental field of expertise.
