Description
Responsibilities: Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs. Interacts with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical teams to understand requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements. Advises on business and technical analysis, policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent practice within the organization.
General Skills:
- Plans, leads and conducts engagements, workshops and analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements for I&IT solutions.
- Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost effective service delivery approaches.
- Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail aligned with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology, Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process, and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies.
- Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost-benefit analyses, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
- Develops and implements sound processes for requirements gathering (e.g., JAD sessions, interviews, workshops, mockups).
- Conducts business modelling; use case modelling; develops user stories and epics; conceptual and logical data modelling; process and data flow modelling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects.
- Conducts requirements prioritization, backlog grooming and writes/updates user stories to support iterative product development and progress demonstrations.
- Monitors progress, resolves problems and reports regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders.
- Experience in requirements gathering, developing documentation (including presentations and briefing notes) and stakeholder engagement.
- Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies.

- Business Analysis & IT Knowledge – 30%
- Demonstrates expertise in IT systems and services, including methodologies to measure business value and maturity.
- Establishes effective traceability between business and IT KPIs.
- Possesses enterprise-level modelling expertise and familiarity with tools, processes, and methodologies for comprehensive business analysis.
- Understands enterprise architecture, particularly in business and information architecture, and emerging technologies (e.g., digital credentials and digital gateway strategy).
- Proficient in software development life cycle and design principles for user interfaces and experiences.
- Experience with agile engineering methods and a broad range of internet technologies (e.g., common internet protocols, web analytics, semantic markup, RESTful API, database concepts and other foundational web topologies).
- Agile project management – 30%
- Experience setting up the agile environment to meet the team’s needs to build and iterate on a user-centered service.
- Experience leading and coordinating the team including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Experience with user-centered design practices and processes.
- Experience flagging and removing obstacles or blockers to progress.
- Experience with iterative product development and testing.
- Experience communicating timelines and progress to audiences with varying levels of agile experience.
- Demonstrates expertise in service delivery and change management.
- Manages quality assurance, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity effectively.
- Communication, Collaboration and facilitation – 30%
- Experience planning and facilitating product and extended team work through collaborative sessions.
- Experience managing the agile process for multi-disciplinary teams including product manager, software developers, user researchers, designers, dev/ops, content creators and other SMEs.
- Experience helping product teams become better at autonomously organizing their own work.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to navigate complex issues and stakeholders.
- Excels in client relationship management and building relationships across organizations.
- Experience creating and presenting information for different audiences; strong verbal and written communication skills with persuasive ability.
- Comfortable with in-person and remote/online interactive sessions with team members.
- Subject Matter Experience with Verifiable Credentials - 10%
- Experience and knowledge with verifiable credentials and SSI model implementations.
- Understands issuer, verifier and holder roles and their interactions within the SSI model.
- Understands major technology components and considerations in support of an SSI model implementation.
Must Have:
- Demonstrates expertise in IT systems and services, including methodologies to measure business value and maturity.
