Job Title: Business Analyst – Level 4 – DailyDuration: 6 MonthsLocation: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)Description/Comment:- The work will consist of gathering requirements from Finance teams, designing and building solutions in LAP and SRS for accounting and risk reporting.
- The role includes coordination with IT developers to ensure specifications are translated in IT programming and with FCOO/Finance stakeholders for the testing phases and transition to production.
The need is to:- Secure the delivery plan of Finance Group sponsored initiatives by end of 2025 in the context of MAIA program as new requirements from GBA related to RWA calculation/reporting in SRS at group level have been prioritized recently.
- NAR Syndication (Nov release)
- SRS Argentina MAIA program (Nov release)
- LAP Balance Sheet by metier Phase 2 (Nov release)
- NR96/NDOD evolution (to be planned)
- Resolve operating systems feed related issues (Front-to-finance datahub, GFM, Atlas2) in LAP impacting RWA calculations.
- Reduce number of manual adjustments posted by Finance.
Main responsibilities will include:- Analyzing user requirements and business processes,
- Liaising with users and internal counterparts from Finance, IT and Operations in NY, Montreal, London, Paris and Mumbai,
- Providing users with Subject Matter expertise for finance processes and systems,
- Liaising with end-users for requirements gathering, UAT and migration testing up to successful delivery of the expected solution,
- Developing functional specifications for delivery to IT,
- Ensuring IT developments are in line with functional specifications.
- Performing integration testing and User Acceptance Testing,
- Ensuring on-time quality delivery of all activities assigned.
Requirements:Training And Occupational Experience:- Proven experience as a Finance professional with good working knowledge of CIB's core businesses, particularly a good knowledge of the financial systems.
- A good understanding of the finance and IT functions in the context of a CIB Bank.
- A solid background (5 to 10 years of experience) in the role of Business Analyst.
- Extensive experience of working with users and their interaction with IT and systems.
- Experience of working with back-office systems in terms of accounting and profit and loss flows such as Calypso, Murex, OMR, UBIX.
- Experience of accountancy systems (3rd party or in-house).
- Experience of regulatory reporting systems such as offerings from Axiom, WKFS, Lombard Risk.
- Knowledge of RDJ or other accounting interpretation engines.
Essential Specific Requirements:- Qualified accountant or other relevant professional qualifications.
- PRINCE2 qualified or other is a benefit but not essential
Skills And Behaviors:- Good understanding of the products traded by an Investment Bank: Foreign Exchange, Interest Rates derivatives, securities, Repos, Credit derivatives.
