  • Collect, analyze, document, and manage business requirements through collaboration with end-users and business stakeholders.
  • Develop an understanding of business processes to identify requirements and develop well-aligned business solutions.
  • Perform quality assurance activities, including test planning, writing test scenarios and scripts, and manual testing.
  • Assist Business Analysts in troubleshooting operational issues and supporting application deployments.
  • Help coordinate development work and interface with business users on requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Business Stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Application Support to identify areas of operational improvement, including building improved dashboards in Tableau and mining logs in Datadog.
What you will learn
  • How to elicit, interpret, and translate business requirements into clear, documented specifications.
  • Test planning, quality assurance, and deployment practices in a professional Agile environment.
  • How to use data, dashboards, and log analysis to find and communicate operational improvements.
  • Relationship building with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, developers, and end-users.
  • How technology and data support decision-making in the energy trading industry.
Required Skills
  • Analytic skills: proficient in one of Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience retrieving and manipulating data programmatically (Python, SQL, or other technology)
  • Interest in learning detailed business processes and workflows
  • Previous co-op or other work experience in an office environment

You are not expected to know every tool listed above. We’re looking for strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn.

Other
