Overview
Business Analyst - Toronto (3 days onsite)
- Look for candidates with experience in Investment Management companies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to elicit analyze and document business requirements for new initiatives enhancements and system integrations.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops interviews and working sessions to identify gaps opportunities and risks.
- Support solution design by working with architects developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
- Assist in developing test plans executing test cases and validating deliverables against business objectives.
- Contribute to change management activities including training user guides and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor s degree in Business Finance Computer Science or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (CBAP PMP Scrum) are assets.
- 8-10 years of business analysis experience preferably within financial services investments or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Solid understanding of SDLC Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio Power BI or equivalent.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic and collaborative environment.
