Overview

Business Analyst - Toronto (3 days onsite)

• Look for candidates with experience in Investment Management companies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit analyze and document business requirements for new initiatives enhancements and system integrations.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops interviews and working sessions to identify gaps opportunities and risks.
• Support solution design by working with architects developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
• Assist in developing test plans executing test cases and validating deliverables against business objectives.
• Contribute to change management activities including training user guides and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Business Finance Computer Science or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (CBAP PMP Scrum) are assets.
• 8-10 years of business analysis experience preferably within financial services investments or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Solid understanding of SDLC Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio Power BI or equivalent.
