Description
Operations Audit Lead
- Maintain SUS platform user lifecycle management processes
- Periodic platform user audit
- Client follow-up and remediation
Platform Log and Audit Lead
- Product management of SUS Audit and common Logging components
- Specification documentation upkeep (requirements and system capabilities for platform and applications)
- User guide and training material upkeep.
- New requirements management (definition, implementation scheduling etc.)
- Implementation validation and sign-off
- Periodic review of platform audit data and reports to identify abnormal usage patterns and initiate corrective action
- Onboarding and project support for application audit
- High level effort and resource assessment
Performance and Security Analyst
- Generate monthly reports on platform performance
- Monitor vulnerability reports and track security patching
- Service Management statistics (Incidents, Service Requests, Change Requests, Outage, SLA etc.)
- Transaction volume statistics (Gateway transactions, DB transactions, API transactions etc.)
- Audit status and issues
Service Inventory Manager
- Manage SUS Service Description documentation
- Manage SUS components CI inventory (liaison to CMDB team)
This position is listed as Onsite; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between standard working hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified Ontario Public Service (OPS) office location.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
General Project Management and Communications Skills (30%)
- Demonstrated experience with setting up workshops with the business users. Demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, consensus building and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience with planning and implementation of releases. Demonstrated experience with developing project plans. Experience with project change management.
- Experience working in communications or organizational development role.
Operations Support and Service Management Skills (30%)
- Demonstrated experience with operations and service management on large IT platforms.
- Extensive experience with ITIL and service management, analytics, and reporting tools. Developing service management processes for cloud based platforms & services.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLC and DevOps processes and tools.
- Extensive Client Relationship Management experience.
Architecture, Implementation & Integration (25%)
- 3+ years of experience in the development of internet/intranet applications of enterprise-wide large, medium or small size, multi-platform, n-tier, multi component applications.
- 3+ years’ of demonstrated competency and experience in implementing physical infrastructure environments and integrating IBM WebSphere Suite of technologies, Integration and API and Oracle DB.
- Demonstrated competency and experience with the Zachman framework.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with business/information/application/ technology/security architectures with enterprise architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with AODA.
Enterprise Security Solution & Java Application Development (10%)
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise application development focused around the use of features such as APIs (REST and SOAP), microservices, SOA, ESB, Single Sign On, Identity Access Management, Omni-channel design, J2EE and J2EE security.
- Demonstrated experience with providing application and security architecture for complex enterprise-wide projects.
Public Sector Experience (5%)
- Experience in the public sector with Enterprise Architecture Approval process (ACT / ARB) and the IT gating process would be an asset.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of, and experience with the policies and procedures of the Ontario government (e.g. business case development, project approvals, and policy development) or another large, complex, unionized organization.
- Knowledge of, and experience with infrastructure services with large organization (e.g. Internal Infrastructure Hosting policies and Provisioning practices).
- Service Management service lifecycle, event & Audit management, monitoring services.
- In depth knowledge of the support organization and ITSM processes adopted in OPS including standards, process and procedures.
- Knowledge & Experience with Enterprise service model.
- Experience with Cloud Services – Kubernetes (OpenShift) & MS Azure.
- Experience with reporting tools and concepts.
- Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and responsiveness.
- Experience with CMDB concepts and methodologies.

• From January 5, 2026, the candidate is required to work onsite 5 days a week fully.
