Job summary

Qualifications

  • Understanding of SDLC (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • System architecture basics.
  • Jira, DevOps, Confluence, Trello.
  • Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • ERP/CRM systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Understanding of financial processes, supply chain, and/or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements gathering & analysis with stakeholders and documenting requirements.
  • Process modelling and improvement of current workflows.
  • Liaison between Business and IT; translate requirements to technical specs.
  • Develop test plans; create test cases and support UAT.
  • Prepare BRDs/SRS, process flows, user guides and test docs.
  • Support project managers with timelines, risks, and SCRUM activities.

Job Summary

A Business Analyst (BA) acts as the connector between business needs and technology solutions. In this role, you’ll work with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and support the design and implementation of systems that improve operational efficiency. You’ll also be involved in testing, documentation, training, and ongoing support to ensure solutions meet organizational goals and enhance overall performance.

The Successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs
  • Document functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, basic data requirements, and business rules
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and observations to collect detailed information
2. Process Modeling & Improvement
  • Analyze current (as-is) business processes and define future-state (to-be) workflows
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Create process diagrams using tools such as flowcharts, BPMN, or UML
3. Business–IT Liaison
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with business goals and add value
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
4. Solution Assessment & Validation
  • Work with QA/test teams to develop test plans
  • Create test cases and maintain a Traceability Matrix
  • Support UAT, including BDR setup and user role/profile requirements
  • Validate system functionality against documented requirements
5. Documentation & Communication
  • Prepare BRDs/SRS, process flows, user guides, basic data requirements, and test documentation
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders and managers
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and version control
6. Project Support
  • Support project managers with timelines, status updates, task breakdowns, and SCRUM activities
  • Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Assist with change management, user communication, and training
  • Support post–go-live activities such as bug reporting, additional training, and user assistance
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
