A leading digital health consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to support a provincial initiative in healthcare standards. The role requires extensive experience in business process analysis and strong knowledge of healthcare data standards. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. This is a contract position for 105 business days, hybrid work available in Ontario.

Qualifications

Job Title: Intermediate Business Analyst – Digital Health Standards

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – up to 3 days onsite)

Duration: Contract (105 business days, extendable)

We’re seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst with digital health experience to support a provincial initiative focused on reducing administrative burden for frontline providers through interoperable, standards-based solutions.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business process analysis, workflow optimization, and change management.
  • Gather requirements and facilitate stakeholder engagement across clinical, technical, and business teams.
  • Develop documentation: process maps, use cases, charters, training materials, and governance artifacts.
  • Support committees and working groups (agendas, meeting coordination, decision tracking).
  • Analyze data quality, governance, and accessibility issues tied to health data standards.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for decision-making and partner alignment.
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Information, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years in business process analysis, solution adoption, and change management—preferably in public sector or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards: HL7 FHIR®, SNOMED CT®, LOINC®.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and process mapping.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
🌟 Nice-to-Have
  • Familiarity with Ontario’s healthcare systems and digital health landscape.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365/cloud tools and solution development lifecycle.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate adoption or implementation risks.

  • Work must be performed within Ontario.
  • Full knowledge transfer and compliance with client policies required.
  • Public sector experience is mandatory.
