Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing Commercial Lending business processes: loan origination, servicing, credit risk, collateral management and payment processes (wire transfers, ACH/EFT, real-time payments).
• Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements, functional specifications, and non-functional requirements using various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys, etc.).
• Develop high-quality deliverables, including User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for Agile development, Detailed Process Flow Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Interface Specifications, and API documentation for upstream and downstream system integration.
• Impact Assessments for proposed changes to payments infrastructure or lending platforms (Loan IQ, ACBS, nCino).
• Domain Expertise Solutioning: Act as the subject matter expert on both Commercial Lending lifecycle and various Payment Rails Schemes relevant to Canadian and North American market.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design viable and sustainable technical solutions that meet business needs and align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Analyze the impact of new payment regulations (Canadian Retail Payments Modernization) on commercial lending operations and define necessary system changes.
• Project Execution Support: Support the Product Owner in maintaining and grooming the product backlog, prioritizing requirements based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system integration testing, ensuring solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards.
• Support post-implementation activities: training, troubleshooting, production issue resolution.
