Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst for a contract opportunity! The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, with a focus on commerce-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commerce, proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies, and be well-versed in JIRA. Additionally, experience with specific commerce platforms such as Shopify+, VTEX, SAP Commerce, or Spryker would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of project objectives and goals.
• Documentation: Create, deliver, and maintain a variety of documentation, including but not limited to use cases, user stories, process workflows, screen and interface designs, mockups, functional/business requirements documentation, and project plans.
• Agile Methodology: Apply Agile delivery methodologies to facilitate the iterative development process. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and tasks.
• JIRA: Utilize JIRA for efficient issue tracking, task management, and project documentation. Maintain JIRA boards and ensure accurate representation of project progress.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases based on documented requirements. Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards.

Required Skills

• Commerce Experience: Demonstrated experience in commerce-related projects is essential. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of e-commerce concepts and workflows.
• Agile Delivery Methodology: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of successfully applying Agile principles to drive project success.
• JIRA: Strong knowledge and experience using JIRA for issue tracking, task management, and project documentation.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including use cases, user stories, process workflows, screen/interface designs, mockups, functional/business requirements documentation, and project plans.
• Delivery Experience with Commerce Platforms: Experience working with one or more of the following commerce platforms is a plus:
