Job summary

Groupe Dynamite is seeking an IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions in a retail/e-commerce context. Based in Montréal, you will gather requirements, model business processes, and collaborate with product owners, developers, and project managers to deliver efficient IT solutions.

You will analyze stakeholder needs, craft functional specs, support system enhancements, and assist with testing and training.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of BA experience, preferably in retail/e-commerce
• Strong understanding of business process analysis
• Hands‑on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow automation
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency with business analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio)
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team and bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to gather requirements, analyze processes, and implement IT solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements;

• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, and Visio);
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Have previous experience in a similar E-commerce Business Analysis role;
• Work well independently and take initiative without the need for close supervision and/or guidance;
• Demonstrate creative and innovative out‑of‑the‑box thinking;
• Demonstrate ease of establishing relationships and building strong credibility with business teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners;
• Have a proven ability to work well under pressure, remain level‑headed, and manage impediments with ease;
• Be forward thinking and resourceful to ensure that all initiatives are delivered in the most effective and timely manner;
• Have exceptional communication skills, with a particular focus on delivering information in a clear and concise way to multiple different levels of stakeholders;
• Be a person who thrives in a challenging and continuously evolving IT environment;
• Be an analytical thinker who thrives in solving business challenges with technology;
• Ability to take complete ownership of project initiatives from initial concept through execution.
