The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 5 years of experience in consulting, and strong business acumen. BDC Advisory Services supports the growth and development of Canadian entrepreneurs with the delivery of high-quality advisory (consulting) engagements. We are currently seeking a motivated detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a Business Advisor. This role is ideal for recent graduates from a CPA programme (or equivalent) who are eager to apply their financial knowledge and advisory skills in a dynamic client‑focused environment.
The Business Advisor is primarily responsible for delivering successful projects for small- and medium‑sized businesses, collaborating closely with Client Partners (CPs) and Business Development Leads (BDLs) to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
Over time you will deepen your expertise within the Financial Management Centre of Expertise (CoE), providing strategic financial guidance to entrepreneurs.
The role requires solid business acumen and an understanding of the challenges faced by small and medium‑sized companies across various sectors. It also requires strategic thinking, strong project management skills and the ability to effectively manage client relationships.
