Wiikwemkoong Board of Education in Ontario is hiring Bus Monitors to assist students with boarding, seating, and safe releases to guardians at stops. This role supports student safety and requires clear communication with children, drivers, and staff.
The position runs Monday to Friday from 7:00–9:00 a.m. and 2:30–4:30 p.m. Start date is August 31, 2026. Applicants should hold current First Aid and CPR certification and be committed to a safe, respectful school environment.
SALARY: $19.26/hr. (4 hr./day)

The role of the School Bus Monitor is to assist children with getting on and off the bus safely. They must also ensure that children are in their assigned seats, if applicable. They must make sure that children get off the bus at the correct stops and that they are being released to the proper guardians.
COMMITMENT: Monday to Friday for 7:00-9:00 a.m. and 2:30-4:30 p.m. bus runs.
