Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker in Calgary to support daily operations including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing in a healthcare setting.

You will work independently and as part of a team, requiring a valid Food Handler Certificate and good English communication. Previous housekeeping/food service experience and healthcare familiarity are assets, with strong safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
• Healthcare environment or long-term care setting experience is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About You

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
