• Engage viewers with clear vocal delivery, accurate game analysis, and seamless live-improvisation during high-intensity moments.

Position Summary

At Athlete Institute, energy and community drive our culture, and our live broadcast is the window into our world-class basketball environment. We are seeking an engaging, knowledgeable, and articulate Broadcasting Commentator to bring Orangeville Prep home basketball games to life for our viewers and global fanbase.

Working across our seasonal home schedule, you will bring the court action to life on live streams by delivering dynamic play-by-play commentary, in-depth tactical analysis, and compelling player insights. If you take pride in creating high-quality broadcast coverage, crafting authentic sports narratives, and highlighting elite student-athletes, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide energetic, professional play-by-play and color commentary during all home games throughout the season.

• Deep understanding of high-level basketball rules, terminology, tactics, and player development pathways.
• Exceptional communication skills, strong composure under pressure, and a natural ability to convey game energy.
• Reliable transportation to the facility for all scheduled home fixtures.
• Seasonal contract beginning October 15, structured around the Orangeville Prep home game schedule (evenings and weekends as dictated by the fixture list).
• Punctual arrival required for mandatory pre-game prep, production run-throughs, and broadcast setup prior to tip-off.
