About the role

As a Bridge Engineer at StructureCraft, you will work alongside our Chief Engineer and engineer-build teams on the engineering, detailing, and delivery of footbridges across North America. You will contribute to advancing bridge engineering methods, help develop bridge-specific best practices and workflows, and play an active role in making these bridges efficient, constructible, and elegant.

What you'll do
  • Execute structural analysis, design, and detailing for pedestrian bridge projects
  • Support development of bridge engineering standards, and design tools
  • Assist BD and estimating efforts with early-stage engineering concepts and feasibility studies in different forms and materials.
  • Coordinate with project management, drafting, fabrication, and construction teams to ensure clarity and seamless delivery
  • Support R&D initiatives to advance bridge systems, connections, and performance
  • Mentor junior team members as skills and experience grow
About You
  • 3–7+ years experience in bridge structural engineering, having seen at least several new mid-span bridges through design and construction.
  • Have (or are progressing toward) PEng in Canada and/or PE licensure in US jurisdictions
  • Strong grasp of structural engineering first principles as well as modelling.
  • Significant knowledge and experience with CSA S6 and / or AASHTO or other leading bridge codes
  • Curious, collaborative, self‑directed and excited to grow into a technical specialty area
  • Passionate about understanding materials, craft, optimization, and elegant structures
Why StructureCraft?
  • Work on some of the most innovative structures in the world
  • Join a deeply collaborative, curious, and technically rigorous engineering culture
  • Direct connection from engineering to actual fabrication + construction
