Job Summary

Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units. Build patios, garden walls, decorative installations, chimneys, fireplaces, and line industrial chimneys and smokestacks with firebricks.

  • Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in masonry.
  • Physical ability: Stand for extended periods; bend, crouch, kneel.
  • Security clearance: Bondable, basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Own transport.
  • Personal suitability: Reliability, team player.
  • Language: English.
