Job summary

Ply Gem Canada is seeking a Branch Warehouse Associate to move and transport goods within a busy warehouse environment. You will sort, count, and prepare materials for shipment, loading and unloading items, and maintaining accurate inventory during daily operations.

The role requires physical endurance, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a team-oriented mindset. Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred, with safety PPE and basic shipping document literacy being

• Previous warehouse, construction, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50lbs) consistently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to read and understand shipping paperwork, labels, and basic instructions.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to ride along on delivery routes required.
• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
• Use of PPE required (gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.).
• Completion of High School / GED

Responsibilities

A Branch Warehouse Associate candidate will possess the knowledge to simplify workload and keep everything in order. Some of their skills include:

• Excellent organizational, communication and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge oftransporting or storing materials.
• Understanding of inventory and shipping procedures.
• Previous experience driving 5 ton trucks (preferred, not required)
• Awareness of Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries.
• Understanding of how to dispose of waste material in a safe manner
• Ability to use computer technology to track inventory, and keep a record of storage
• Ability to work well with others
