Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager in its Power/HVAC Division. Lead a large, multi-role team spanning sales, service, maintenance and drivers to deliver exceptional customer service and profitable branch operations.

You will oversee safety, compliance, budgeting and reporting, while driving sales initiatives and operational excellence across the location. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of branch management with P&L responsibility.
• Strong sales and customer service experience; outside sales preferred.
• Familiar with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic systems.

What you'll do:

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center
• An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation
• Strong sales and customer service experience required, outside sales experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems
• Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Compensation Range: $80,865.00 - $129,390.00
