Job summary

Richardson Wealth Ltd in Halifax, Canada seeks a Branch Manager who will support Advisors and their teams, drive strategic initiatives, and oversee day-to-day operations. The role may be producing or non-producing and is central to our growing branch network.

You will manage recruiting, supervise daily trades, review accounts, and ensure compliance across marketing, client communications, and financial planning approvals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a full service brokerage environment, including compliance supervision.
• Successful track record of competitive recruiting.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Branch execution of firm initiatives and objectives as set by the Director, National Sales.
• Recruiting of advisor teams who fit the profile and Richardson Wealth standards.
• Daily and Monthly trade supervision.
• Review & approval of all new account documentation.
• Trade correction review and approval.
• Marketing and client correspondence approvals.
• Financial plan and IPS approvals.
• Management and rollout of initiatives (insurance, banking, etc).
• Monitoring of Branch and Advisor financials.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for supporting Advisors and their teams and building a collaborative and productive environment. Responsibilities include management of strategic firm initiatives, and the day-to-day operation of the branch. This position is open to both producing and non-producing managers.

This is an existing vacancy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Branch execution of firm initiatives and objectives as set by the Director, National Sales
• Recruiting of advisor teams who fit the profile and Richardson Wealth standards
• Daily and Monthly trade supervision
• Review & approval of all new account documentation
• Trade correction review and approval
• Marketing and client correspondence approvals
• Financial plan and IPS approvals
• Management and rollout of initiatives (insurance, banking, etc)
• Monitoring of Branch and Advisor financials

Education

• University degree
• Must be licensed with CIRO as Registered Representative (RR), Branch Manager and Options Supervisor Course (OSC)

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a full service brokerage environment, including compliance supervision experience
• Successful track record of competitive recruiting
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Use of Dataphile, Microsoft Office Suite, Reuters.
