Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Brake and Tire Technician in Halifax, Nova Scotia to maintain our latest fleet of trucks and trailers. You will perform tire and brake maintenance, mount/dismount tires, and help keep equipment in top condition for customers. Prior repair experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Brake and Tire Technician

As a U-Haul Brake and Tire Technician, you will use U-Haul Company's proprietary technology to assess and care for field vehicles. U-Haul will provide the support and tools you need to succeed and grow, so if you want a job with endless opportunities for career growth.

Brake and Tire Technician Primary Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

The work involves manual labor and the ability to work safely and to be always alert. You may need to use protective clothing or gear like masks, safety shoes, goggles, gloves, or face shields.
