Job summary

The Burger's Priest on Queen St East in Toronto is hiring a part-time cashier. You will greet guests, take orders, process cash and card payments, and help ensure accurate deliveries and speedy service in a fast-paced setting.

We value a friendly, energetic team player who can handle mixed shifts, maintain poise during busy periods, and follow food-safety policies. Food Handler certification is preferred or obtainable, and employee discounts apply as part of a welcoming, supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor is essential.

The Burger’s Priest is hiring a Part-time Cashier at our Queen St East location!

Want to work at a place that's as serious about burgers as it is about creating a positive workspace? Thought so.

We dress burgers. Not you. We never cared much for work uniforms and we're guessing you might feel the same. We want you to work in an environment where you're free to be yourself, we wouldn't have it any other way.

What you will do in this role:

• Greet our guests and provide “ABSOLUTE” service
• Manage third party delivery drivers and ensure order accuracy
• Suggest menu items and guide guests through the ordering process
• Take phone-in orders
• Process payments (cash & card)
• Adopt a “clean as you go” mentality and adhere to all sanitation/food production policies
• Be a team player by assisting co-workers as needed

What we are looking for from you:

• Friendly and enthusiastic about everything you do
• Passionate about providing only the best guest experiences
• Food Handler Certified or willing to certify
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and ability to multitask
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a hot environment
• Possess a safe food handlers certificate
• Bonus points for previous cash handling experience
