Course Information
- BP 8104. W2026. 3 Semester Hours. Approximately 30 Students
- a. A part-time hourly appointment / one semester for less than 9 hours in any one semester
- b. Course delivery in W2026 will be in person.
- c. Candidates hired for in-person courses will be required to carry out their teaching in campus.
- d. Academic Assistant (AA) support is academically required to deliver this course. The successful applicant will be provided appropriate AA support.

Qualifications
Evidence supporting all categories listed below may be requested for all categories.
- Education — PhD. in Physics or equivalent in field related to target course
- Teaching Experience — Teaching target or similar course at TMU undergraduate program or another university undergraduate program.
- Practice field experience — Current (past 3 years) practice in the field of Physics in Radiation Therapy
- Current (past 3 years) practice in related field (depends on quality of experience, including relevance to course, level of responsibility, relevant professional accreditation, etc.)
- Teaching Skills — Demonstrated experience of ability to effectively teach in an environment which includes demonstrated knowledge of best practices for the delivery & management of courses, including using course management system tools to communicate with students and to foster and support a collaborative learning community with and between students in the course
- Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of personal computers that are relevant to course delivery and online D2L system.
- Currency — Academic publications (refereed) in past 5 years.
- Other demonstrated professional currency (practitioner writing, courses taken).
- Interactive Skills — The following will be rated based on previous teaching ratings / evaluations:
- Lecture presentation
- Email Interaction
- Follow through with assignments
