Position: BOM Controller

Location: Winnipeg, Canada

We are seeking a detail-oriented BOM Controller to join our North America Procurement team. In this role, you will monitor and control vehicle Bill of Material (BOM) costs, ensure compliance with Buy America regulations, and support procurement processes. Your expertise in ERP systems, data analysis, and cost control will drive efficiency and value.

Responsibilities:

• Model and exemplify company values and culture.
• Analyze North American vehicle BOM costs by platform and customer.
• Report weekly BOM cost changes, noting magnitude and responsible parties.
• Ensure BOM system costs reflect approved supplier pricing accurately.
• Secure proper approval and documentation for BOM cost increases.
• Validate commodity savings in BOMs.
• Generate monthly KPI reports on BOM cost movements by platform and customer.
• Support tendering and cost of production by providing current material costs to the Commercial Department.
• Report BOM cost movements accurately and promptly.
• Validate commodity savings and prevent unauthorized cost increases.
• Prepare Buy America submissions using verified BOM data when required.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Buy America regulations and audit submissions.
• Thorough knowledge of product BOM structures and classifications.
• Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis/reporting abilities.
• Focus and determination to eliminate unnecessary costs.
• Effective communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Several years of experience in manufacturing, materials, or procurement roles.
