Boiler Operator 3rd Class (Power Engineer)
As the successful candidate, you will safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Boiler Operator 3rd Class in an assigned area, on a 9/80 schedule.
What you’ll do:
Inspect, repair, install, adjust and maintain boilers and refrigeration equipment.
Operate as the certified water treatment plant operator - monitor potable water system and report any abnormalities as per environmental standards.
Adjust, dismantle and repair and assemble plant equipment in line with manufacturers and recommended standards.
Make boiler water tests, analyze and make appropriate changes and addition of chemicals.
Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions, and to make written reports as required.
Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.
Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied with.

What you’ll need:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
A recognized valid 3rd Class Stationary Engineers Certificate.
A minimum of three years’ experience in Boiler Room and/or refrigeration plant operations and maintenance.
Full knowledge of the utilization and care of tools and hand tools.
The ability to discern the state of auxiliary equipment and take appropriate action.
Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
Must be authorized to work in Canada.
