Thompson Collision & Glass is looking for a reliable Body Shop Assistant to support our collision repair team. This is a hands-on role requiring pride in keeping a workplace safe, organized, and ready for the day’s work.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License (Mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to safely lift, lower, carry, and move light to heavy items.
• Physical stamina for an active role that may require standing for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to complete tasks on time.
• Experience working in an automotive repair environment is an asset

Responsibilities

• Cooperate and assists other personnel in preparing all parts required for the job.
• Interior and exterior cleaning to meet the shop’s quality standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop through sweeping and removing garbage.
• Working with others to remove and install windshields.
• Receive and verify all incoming parts shipments.
• Accurately enter shipments into the computer system then label parts.
• Organize and store parts in designated locations within the department.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and organization.
• Perform minor repairs to vehicles as directed.
• Additional duties as assigned by management
