Blender and Packer – Food and Beverage Processing

Location: Rocky View, AB T4A 0E2 – On site. Own transportation required; public transportation is not available.

Salary: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 30‑40 hours per week. Employment: Seasonal, part‑time leading to full‑time. Shift or on‑call work; starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors.
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Feed and unload processing machines.
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare production and other reports.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food and beverage plant.
  • Physical capability: Able to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and operate in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, team player, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, values and ethics, organized.
