Project Overview
Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking experienced BizTalk Integration Developers to join the Systems Integration Services team. The selected consultant(s) will develop, maintain, and support HL7 v2.x integration solutions primarily for the Infection Control Project, as well as additional integration initiatives across the organization.
This is a remote role, with occasional collaboration with SNB teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop HL7 v2.x integration applications that meet business and system requirements while maintaining data integrity.
- Develop additional non-HL7 integration applications that support enterprise interoperability.
- Design, build, configure, and install integration components within the Microsoft BizTalk Server environment.
- Collaborate closely with business teams, project managers, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Complete development and maintenance tasks such as service requests, incidents, enhancements, releases, and problem resolutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of integration solutions.
- Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on BizTalk development, integration patterns, and best practices.
- Produce high-quality solution documentation based on SNB’s standards and templates.
- Transfer knowledge and review developed solutions with the SNB Integration Services team.
- Participate in managing technical scope and aligning solutions with overall integration architecture.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience designing and developing BizTalk integration solutions.
- Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x messaging standards.
- Experience creating, configuring, and supporting integration applications in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and support operations.
- Experience collaborating across technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and complete Privacy & Security Training prior to onboarding.
