A pest control service provider in Richmond seeks a motivated Wildlife Technician to manage a territory, providing inspections and treatments in various establishments. Responsibilities include wildlife removal and installation of deterrent products. Candidates with strong communication and customer service skills are preferred. Offers a competitive salary between $44,365 and $49,035, plus commission and bonuses on service work.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Bird and Wildlife Technician will be responsible for an assigned territory to manage each month. You will provide inspections and treatments to a variety of business ranging from restaurants, food plants, warehousing to office buildings and residential homes. The duties for the role would include installation of Bird Barrier bird deterrent products (netting / grid-wire); removal of small animals such as squirrels, raccoons, possums, etc.; identification of bird control issues and sale of service to potential clients; installation of one-way doors and permanent exclusion techniques. You will also be required to build new business through sales. High commissions are paid on new business, and bonus money is paid each month on service work completed.
