Job summary

Celerion is seeking a full-time Biostatistician in Canada to join the Data Management and Biometric department. The role focuses on developing statistical analysis plans, performing SAS analyses, and preparing project reports.

You will work with data management, project management, and Sponsors to ensure high-quality deliverables. Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Statistics-related field with 3+ years of industry experience and strong SAS programming skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics-related field with 3+ years industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in SAS programming and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and interpret statistical results for projects.
• Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for studies of varying complexity.
• Create and review statistical reports, tables, listings and figures (TLFs).
• Generate randomization schedules and support randomization plans when required.
• Collaborate with data management, project management and sponsors to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate data transmissions to Sponsors and provide input on data collection methods.
• Lead or participate in department or market segment team activities.
• Communicate timelines, deliverables, and commitments to stakeholders clearly.
• Provide programming assistance as applicable to project needs.
• Ensure consistency and completeness of reports through iterative review.
