Job summary

Summit, An Earth Services Company, is seeking a Biologist Consultant based in central to southern Saskatchewan to lead and support environmental planning projects in the energy sector. You will perform pre-development baseline assessments, monitoring, permitting, and reporting while mentoring team members and ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• University degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of direct consulting or environmental industry experience.
• Familiarity with wildlife, vegetation, wetlands, and/or aquatic assessments.
• Ability to travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support Saskatchewan-based environmental deliverables (baseline assessments, wildlife/vegetation surveys, wetlands assessments, etc.).
• Participate in regulatory compliance for pre-development projects (Environmental Planning).
• Lead site identification and monitoring initiatives (wildlife, rare plants, wetlands, aquatic/fisheries).
• Report project status daily/weekly/monthly as needed.
