Job summary

Gateway Casinos is seeking a Bingo Coordinator to supervise bingo operations and staff, ensure accurate cash handling and payout records, and coordinate with callers on promotions. The role emphasizes guest experience, teamwork, and maintaining equipment readiness across events.

The successful candidate will have supervisory experience, bingo knowledge, and relevant certifications, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in a dynamic entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory work experience.
• One year of bingo experience is an asset.
• Serving It Right Certificate (BC), Pro Serve (AB), Smart Serve (ON) completed prior to start date.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bingo operations, financial management and staff.
• Verify cash floats and distribution of floats to staff.
• Calculate prize and maintain record of payouts in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Work in conjunction with the caller to ensure awareness of all payouts, promotions and announcements.
• Ensure all equipment is operational prior to and during event as well as possible minor equipment maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and specials and ensure team is knowledgeable.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise bingo operations, financial management and staff.
