Job summary

WSP is seeking a BIM Quality Specialist in Canada to ensure the integrity, quality, and performance of BIM deliverables across infrastructure projects. You will troubleshoot BIM/CAD issues, perform model health assessments, and support project teams through QA/QC initiatives using WSP tools and dashboards.

You will lead audits, analyze trends, and communicate actionable insights to leadership. The role requires strong BIM knowledge in Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks, with experience in Power BI

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in BIM, CAD, Digital Delivery, or BIM Quality Management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to BIM workflows.
• Experience reviewing and assessing model quality, standards compliance, and BIM deliverables.
• Experience interpreting data from automated auditing tools, model health assessments, and BIM quality reviews.
• Strong understanding of BIM data structures, metadata requirements, naming conventions, and information management principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform BIM QA/QC reviews of Civil 3D and Revit models to verify compliance with project standards and BIM Execution Plans.
• Conduct model health assessments and identify data integrity, standard, and performance issues.
• Troubleshoot BIM quality, ACC, and BIM workflow issues, providing technical support to project teams.
• Execute and interpret results from BIM auditing and quality control scripts.
• Analyze quality metrics, model health indicators, and compliance data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations communicating BIM quality metrics to teams and leadership.
• Review project models against naming conventions, metadata requirements, classification standards.
• Support implementation and improvement of BIM quality standards and digital delivery processes.
• Collaborate with BIM Managers and Project Teams to resolve model quality issues.
• Assist with root cause analysis of recurring BIM/CAD issues and preventative solutions.
• Support automation initiatives for model health monitoring and data validation workflows.
• Prepare technical documentation and lessons learned to support improvements.
• Lead BIM Quality Technical meetings and gather feedback for design team.
