Job summary

A global company in Ajax, Ontario, is looking for a Billing Specialist for a long-term contract. Responsibilities include monitoring transactions, creating vendor profiles, and handling customer service tasks. Candidates should have a post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and intermediate MS Excel knowledge. Experience with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in or be comfortable with a very high-volume environment.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills via email and over the phone.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor EFT reports to ensure all transactions have been processed correctly.
  • Handle payment cancellation requests.
  • Create vendor profiles in the ERP system.
  • Accurately monitor and document processes.
  • Support with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks.

About Our Client

Our client is a globally recognized company and they’re looking to add a Billing Specialist , this will be an ongoing long-term contract

  • Accurately monitor and document processes
  • Support with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks
Qualifications
  • Must have post-secondary education (College or University) in Accounting or Finance
  • Must have experience in or be comfortable with a very high-volume environment
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role
  • At least an intermediate level of MS Excel (Pivots and Lookups required)
  • Excellent communication skills via email and over the phone
  • Must be comfortable with customer service / administrative tasks
  • SAP would be an asset
