We are a leading company in the content management industry. One of our clients, a leader in the aerospace sector, is looking for an experienced Technical Writer.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for learning new technologies using various software tools to create accurate and comprehensive documents.

Your tasks will include determining the requirements for technical documentation, collecting data from technical staff, reading and analyzing schematics and technical drawings, and collaborating with product specialists and technical instructors to verify content.

Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and conducting research on hardware and software, writing and editing documents, customizing data according to specifications, and performing computer-based validations. You will also participate in internal peer reviews, coordinate the review and approval processes, and bring innovative ideas to improve documentation and documentation processes.

Qualifications
  • University or college degree in related field, such as Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Three to five years of experience as a Technical Writer.
  • Proficiency in XML S1000D authoring tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of HTML and DITA languages.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
