Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a detail‑oriented Bilingual Talent Acquisition/Onboarding Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Concord or Pointe‑Claire. The role supports engaging recruitment and a smooth onboarding process for new employees in a fast‑paced environment.

Requires bilingual English/French and HR experience, with ATS familiarity. Base salary range is CAD 49,845.00 to 62,305.00, plus potential bonuses and a broad rewards package.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Social Sciences.
• Bilingual French/English with up to 3 years of HR experience, preferably with recruitment and onboarding.
• Experience with ATS systems; UKG Recruiting is an asset.
• Willing and able to travel as necessary to Recruiting events.

Responsibilities

• Understand, model and promote Toromont's safety behaviours for a best-in-class safety culture.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding: job postings, ATS setup, offers, onboarding.
• Communicate with new hires and leaders to collect pre-boarding documents in UKG Recruiting.
• Liaise with business for a smooth transition of new hires into the company.
• Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and related tasks.

Toromont Cat is seeking a detail‑oriented, people‑focused Bilingual Talent Acquisition/Onboarding Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role supports an engaging recruitment experience and a smooth onboarding transition for new employees. This position may be based in either the Concord or Pointe‑Claire office and requires bilingual proficiency in English and French.

Compensation

$49,845.00 - $62,305.00

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Understand, model and promote the safety behaviours that Toromont is committed to for a best-in-class safety culture.
• Effectively collaborate and partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure all process steps are flawlessly carried out through the full cycle process of recruiting and onboarding process for a successful hire including: job postings, managing applicant / candidate set-up and activity in ATS, handle offer letters, ensures process effectiveness, launch onboarding, and professionally answer /direct questions from the business
• Effectively communicates and follows-up with new hires and business leaders to ensure required pre-boarding documents are collected, validated, and managed into UKG Recruiting in a timely manner.
• Proactive liaises with the business and hiring managers in support of bridging and a smooth transition of all new hires into the company.
• Responds to and/or directs general enquiries and questions from stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives or projects, and other related tasks as may be required.

Must-haves for this role:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences; a demonstrated passion for talent acquisition and onboarding.
• Bilingual French/English, with up to 3 years of HR experience, preferably with recruitment and onboarding.
• Experience working with ATS’s and recruiting processes; experience with UKG Recruiting module is an asset; experience working with skilled trades and/or the industrial sector is an asset.
• Proactive orientation with a desire to drive and ensure a positive customer experience
• Strong attention to detail, and effective organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
• Willing and able to travel (as may be necessary) to participate and represent Toromont at Recruiting events.
