Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced HR Communications Lead to develop and manage internal communications across Workday, intranet, and SharePoint. You will partner with HR and Corporate Communications to ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with strategic priorities.

The role requires 5+ years in internal communications, bilingual French/English, and proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of internal corporate communications experience.
  • Bilingual English/French required for nationwide interactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with HR communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit HR communications across platforms including Workday and intranet.
  • Update and format intranet pages and SharePoint sites.
  • Create technical videos to support HR communications.
  • Govern platforms, identify issues, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders and Corporate Communications.
  • Influence stakeholders to align HR communications.
  • Stay current on communications trends and best practices.
  • Support projects delivering strategic HR priorities.

Salary range (but not limited to):

87,200 - 106,600

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

What you’ll do here:

  • Write and edit clear, engaging HR communications across multiple platforms to ensure content is accurate, accessible, up to date and aligned with internal standards.
  • Manage all HR communications platforms by updating and formatting Workday Help articles, intranet pages and SharePoint sites.
  • Create, edit and publish technical "how to" videos to support HR communications.
  • Lead the governance and monitor HR communications platforms to identify issues and recommend improvements to content, processes and communications plans.
  • Establish strong relationships with HR stakeholders to understand their needs, collaborate, and support projects that deliver on our strategic priorities, while making information clear and easy to understand.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to align communications and maximize impact.
  • Influence HR stakeholders to build alignment in HR communications across all platforms.
  • Stay current on communications trends and best practices to support innovative approaches and positive change.

What you bring to the table:

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, human resources or related discipline (or any combination of equivalent education and experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in internal corporate communications. Experience in Human Resources (HR) communications is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • For all candidates across Canada: Bilingualism (French / English) is required considering the need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in managing SharePoint sites, leveraging AI tools and using Microsoft tools, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Workday is an asset.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, you love working in a collaborative environment and inspire others to thrive.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
