Job Overview

You as a Security Manager will develop and document a site security plan in conjunction with key stakeholders following PSPC security manual and client requirements.

  • Obtain and maintain ACSO role with PSPC where required.
  • Conduct chair and minute security meetings.
  • Manage access control for a secure project.
  • Oversight to manage, document and mitigate risk of incidents and breaches.
  • Receive, log, and track sensitive, protected, classified information and assets.
  • Assist in the process of obtaining required security designations for new projects (DOS/FSC).
  • Responsible for PSOS forms for sponsorship of subcontractors.
  • Manage SRCLs for submission to PSPC.
  • Submit VCR forms for personnel clearance and site access.
  • Assist with clearance process for personnel and subcontractors.
Qualifications
  • Business administration degree or diploma and a minimum of five years of security clearance administration experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Experience managing security personnel.
  • Leadership experience including leading a remote team and partnering with senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of processes for setting up construction projects and developing site-specific security plans.
  • Experience as an Alternate Company Security Office (ACSO) is an asset.
  • Works positively within a team to achieve common goal of completion of the project.
  • Bilingual is considered an asset.
  • ASIS Certification is an asset.
  • Must have Reliability Clearance through CISD (PWSGC) or be eligible.
