Job summary

Michelin Pictou County in Granton, Nova Scotia, invites a bilingual Process Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team in a leading manufacturing environment. You will define and monitor process parameters to ensure product quality, participate in quality planning, and collaborate with local and global customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical awareness and ability to work around equipment.
  • Ability to develop digital tools.
  • Fully fluent in English and French (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in quality planning for products, materials, processes and methods.
  • Establish and implement quality standards and ensure compliance.
  • Define and implement corrective and preventative actions for improvement.
  • Design and run tests to evaluate changes with materials, equipment, automation, or process.
  • Participate in quality planning and feasibility studies.
  • Contribute to product startups and evolutions.
  • Join projects and teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Act as liaison between local and global customers to resolve issues.
  • Support operations by monitoring production quality and maintenance.
  • Assist in maintaining the product model.
