What you will be doing:

The Mortgage Solutions Manager is responsible for providing peace of mind to clients and building loyalty by delivering customized mortgage solutions and advice. You will manage the full journey of new mortgage acquisition—from lead to funding—focusing exclusively on new-to-bank mortgages, including purchase transactions, switches from other institutions, and Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver a seamless, consultative experience that helps clients make informed decisions while driving business growth.
• Act as the primary contact for clients selecting Tangerine, guiding them through the end‑to‑end mortgage journey.
• Build and maintain strong relationships by following disciplined sales‑development activities.
• Initiate client conversations with open‑ended questions to uncover goals and objectives.
• Present tailored mortgage options and provide clear recommendations based on client needs.
• Actively manage an assigned portfolio of potential and existing mortgage clients sourced via bank‑issued leads and referrals.
• Sourcing and acquiring new mortgage clients through outbound efforts.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners to generate mortgage opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to funding.
• Qualify and convert leads, guiding clients through pre‑approval, application, and funding.
• Accountable for achieving monthly mortgage origination and sales targets, and identifying cross‑sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure timely approvals and closings.
• Communicate required documents and updates promptly, setting clear expectations for next steps.
• Maintain customer service levels for email and phone communications.

• High proficiency with all MS Office products.
