Must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; new graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
• 1-2+ years of experience in QA within web and data environments.
• Proficient in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with programming in Python and Java.
• Familiarity with ETL testing and data validation tools (e.g., Snowflake, Matillion, SSIS).
• Strong expertise in SQL queries.
• Understanding of reporting validation and experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Agile SCRUM experience.
• ISTQB certification is a beneficial asset.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• As a Bilingual Junior QA Engineer, I will oversee quality assurance across data analytics platforms utilizing AI and automation.
• I will design and execute testing strategies for web applications and data workflows.
• It will be my responsibility to validate ETL processes and ensure data integrity within Data Warehouse and Data Lake environments.
• I will create and maintain automated testing suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Performing API testing and validating integrations for AI-driven applications will be part of my duties.
• I will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and analysts to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Leveraging AI tools, such as Copilot and ChatGPT, will help me expedite test case generation and defect analysis.
• I will document test results and ensure QA sign-off for all releases.

Company:

• This position operates under a hybrid work model, requiring two days per week in our Montreal office.
• It is a fixed-term contract for a duration of six months, amounting to 40 hours each week, with a pay rate starting at $45.00 per hour.
