Language requirement: French or English. Duties include supervising children, organizing activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing and diapering, hygiene instruction, and ensuring a safe, nurturing home environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
• Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver.
• Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise two children when parents are away.
• Organize activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings for amusement and exercise.
• Discipline children according to parents' methods.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Bathe children, change diapers, and lay them down for rest periods as needed.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for children; kitchen clean-up.
• General housework including laundry and ironing.
• Dust rooms for a clean environment.
• Support child development and safety within the home.
