We're looking for a Human Resources Generalist to help shape the employee experience at Descartes and support our growing Canadian employee population. This role combines tactical and strategic HR functions, focusing on relationship-building and business partnership. As an HR Generalist, you'll be a trusted partner to leaders and employees, blending hands-on support with strategic guidance. You'll juggle everything from onboarding and employee relations to data reporting and compliance—all with a people-first mindset. In this role, you will report to the Human Resources Manager and be part of a global team. Success in this role requires strong judgment, relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop creative HR solutions. Confidentiality is essential as you will handle sensitive employee matters. You’ll recommend and implement HR solutions while working both collaboratively and independently. $60,000 to $75,000 CAD. Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
