What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Calculate and code offsets and the adjusted LTD benefit in Navigator
  • Inform Plan Members of the overpayment amount with clear explanations both verbally and in writing
  • Follow up with Plan Members for reimbursement of overpayment and negotiate acceptable repayment plans
  • Proceed with claim recoveries in Navigator
  • Support clients from various provinces by communicating in both English and French
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver difficult messages empathetically
  • Strong math skills and proficiency with Office 365, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to read and interpret group insurance contracts and apply their provisions
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Strong negotiation skills and a capacity for continuous learning and improvement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with Navigator is an asset
  • Experience in disability benefit calculations is helpful
