What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Calculate and code offsets and the adjusted LTD benefit in Navigator
- Inform Plan Members of the overpayment amount with clear explanations both verbally and in writing
- Follow up with Plan Members for reimbursement of overpayment and negotiate acceptable repayment plans
- Proceed with claim recoveries in Navigator
- Support clients from various provinces by communicating in both English and French
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver difficult messages empathetically
- Strong math skills and proficiency with Office 365, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to read and interpret group insurance contracts and apply their provisions
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English and French
- Strong negotiation skills and a capacity for continuous learning and improvement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Navigator is an asset
- Experience in disability benefit calculations is helpful
