What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Calculate and code offsets and the adjusted LTD benefit in Navigator
  • Inform Plan Members of the overpayment amount with clear explanations both verbally and in writing
  • Follow up with Plan Members for reimbursement of overpayments and negotiate acceptable repayment plans when necessary
  • Manage claim recoveries in Navigator
  • Communicate effectively in English and French to support clients from various provinces
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to empathize while delivering difficult messages
  • Strong math skills
  • Proficiency in Office 365, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to read and interpret group insurance contracts and apply their provisions
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both English and French
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Navigator is an asset
  • Experience in disability benefit calculations is helpful
